Print and File server

I asked Mary to buy a print/file server and 500GB hard disk from Singapore. I installed it today, and they seem to work fine. The hard disk is a usb drive called Free Agent, by Seagate, and it’s significantly cheaper in Singapore, if you don’t end up paying tax on it when bringing it into Oz. The print/file server is a little gadget by PCI called ‘mini-mfp’; the mfp stands for multi function printer. Now we can share the printer without needing to boot up the computer upstairs. I’m still having a bit of trouble getting Melissa’s Vista OS to communicate with the hard disk. There’s some kind of ‘invalid directory’ error. Hmmm…
