New Vegetables planted

Written By: Tuen - Sep• 15•07

Today, I planted a new row of Spring Onions and Baby carrots.  Let’s hope this batch will turn out better than the last batch, which was sown just before winter and has been taking a long time to mature.  The previous Baby carrots had their leaves eaten by slugs (see http://blog.tuenproductions.com/2007/08/06/slugs/), so I guess that’s the explanation for the slow growth.  As for the Spring Onions, maybe it was just too cold.  Let’s see what happens with this batch.
