Homecoming and Citizenship

Written By: Tuen - Feb• 14•08

On Tuesday, Melissa arrived back in Melbourne after 5 weeks in Singapore.  We fetched her and Maggie’s family from the airport, and after sending Maggie’s family home, we dropped the luggage back home and proceeded for our citizenship test.  It’s a good thing Melissa studied on the plane, as she scored 100%.  I scored 100% too, but Mary had one answer wrong and scored 95%.  Anyway, of course we all passed, and now, it’s just a matter of time till we get citizenship.  Time really flies.

Tonight, we had dinner out to celebrate Ian’s 16th birthday, today being his actual birthday.  It was nice to finally have the whole family sitting down for a meal, after 5 weeks or so of missing someone or other during meal times.

Both Melissa and Alphonsus have found part time jobs, and they are both preparing for their first day of Uni next week.
