Ming’s Confirmation

Posted by Tuen on 20th November 2008 in Diary, Family

On 7th November, Ming received the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Christopher’s church.  He had been preparing for this event by attending Sunday school classes for the last few months.

The confirmation was presided over by the Vicar-general, Monsignor Tomlinson (I guess the Archbishop wasn’t available).  The ceremony went quite smoothly, and Alphonsus and Ian were roped in at the last minute to serve the Altar.

The Chias attended the ceremony as well, so after the event, all of us adjourned to our place for supper.

Ming is quite glad to have received his confirmation as now he doesn’t need to attend Sunday school classes any more!
