Merimbula Hols

Written By: Tuen - Jan• 08•12

We just returned from a very nice holiday in Merimbula, which is in the south coast of NSW. The entire extended family was there, except for Wen who is in Paris for an exchange programme. Merimbula is a nice coastal town and we had a free and easy holiday there. We stayed at the Coast resort, which was really very nice.

Besides eating, the kids went surfing, archery, fishing, hitting golf balls into the lake, water sliding, sun bathing on the beach etc. The boys also spent many hours on their laptops playing online games.

We also went to Nethercote falls where I had the opportunity to drive the 4WD down a very short but steep track. The kids had a chance to swim at the falls, which was very pleasant.

All in, we spent 8 days at Merimbula.

Photos can be found here.

Oh, we also attended Christmas Day mass at St. Joseph’s church, where an African priest, Fr. Constantine, gave an excellent sermon.
